Workshops
Teachers of elementary students -- would you like to train your students to in the art of storytelling or help them create their own stories? Karen’s “Telling Stories is Fun” workshop is just what you need. She will work with a group of up to 30 students at a time.
Teachers of high school students -- Karen’s
workshops include helping foreign language students create and tell
stories from other cultures. Her one hour class trains Child Development
Classes in storytelling for young children.
Drama teachers, Karen demonstrate how storytelling can enhance dramatic
presentations.
Adults Groups -- Karen offers workshops in
which participants can learn to tell your family and personal stories in
memorable ways by using Karen's Story Starters.
Some of her favorite Story Starters include:
- a favorite or most intriguing relative
- the neighborhood bully
- your best or most disastrous birthday, holiday, vacation
- learning to ride a bicycle or to drive a car
- the first day of school or college
- close calls or near misses
- a day that was a turning point in your life
