Presentations with a    Participation Flair

Storytime for preschoolers through high school students -- Karen’s repertoire includes stories for audiences of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers.  She particularly likes heroic stories, humorous fairytales, and historic fiction.  She  features folklore and myths from around the world.  Interaction with the students keeps them entertained as they learn about other cultures.

Adult Stories -- Karen has a number of presentations that will be appealing to adult groups—funny family stories, healing stories, women’s tales, memoir writing, and stories that are just plain fun to hear.

Churches and church schools -- favorite Bible stories  include David and Goliath and Shadrach, Mesach, Abednego and the Fiery Furnace.  She also tells allegorical tales, such as the St. Francis and the Wolf.

Healing stories -- Karen believes that stories can often have healing properties.  Tales can lift the spirit, inspire, and offer hope.  (Ask Karen to include her version of the myth Prometheus and Pandora in her storytelling presentation.)
