Karen’s passion is storytelling in both the written and oral form because it is entertaining, educational, and brings generations together. Since she is a retired school librarian, she understands how to combine learning with fun. Karen is an officer in the Central Texas Storytelling Guild and has been featured as one of Rising Stars at the state storytelling convention. She is the resident storyteller at a camp for foster children and tells monthly at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden. Her storytelling is characterized by audience participation to keep her presentations both entertaining and lively.
